The ASEAN-Australia Emerging Leaders Program cultivates the next generation of leaders who will drive positive change across Australia and Southeast Asia. It supports young professionals to develop their leadership skills, expand their networks, and engage in meaningful cross-cultural exchanges.
Participants take part in immersive experiences, including leadership workshops, mentorship sessions, and collaborative projects. They’re challenged to enhance their understanding of regional issues, foster innovative thinking, and build lasting connections with peers from diverse backgrounds.
The Centre supported three Emerging Leaders Programs in 2024-25, each delivered over a three-month period, including a one-week stay in Australia. In 2024-25, courses focused on the thematic areas of health, digital economy and sustainable agriculture.
