The ASEAN-Australia Centre has proudly selected 12 New Colombo Plan participants in the STEM and resource sectors to be the inaugural New Colombo Plan ASEAN-Australia Centre Scholars.
The New Colombo Plan is a signature initiative of the Australian Government, launched in 2014. It enhances knowledge and understanding of the Indo-Pacific region among Australian undergraduates. This transformative program supports students to study and undertake language training and internships in the Indo-Pacific region, fostering regional understanding and connection.
The Centre will support our scholars to expand their networks and link them with opportunities in Australia to deepen their understanding of Southeast Asia and ASEAN.
