Generation Next: ASEAN-Australian Women Leading Economic Growth will accelerate the business growth and economic empowerment of at least 120 early-stage female entrepreneurs from ASEAN Member States and Australia over 4 years.
Each year the program will support female entrepreneurs to build practical networks, explore new markets and provide leadership training.
A 12-week program will run each year and offer:
- an initial 11-weeks of online training – linking women with business contacts, giving them insights into various ASEAN or Australian economies to support their business ventures
- a 7-day trade mission exchange in Australia for industry networking events, meetings with business officials and to attend their annual event where global speakers come together to pitch startup ideas – helping women make connections and propel their business ideas.
30 young female entrepreneurs were selected for the 2025 program, which ran from June to October 2025, and was focused on the green economy.
