Generation Next: ASEAN-Australian Women Leading Economic Growth will accelerate the business growth and economic empowerment of at least 120 early-stage female entrepreneurs from ASEAN, Timor-Leste, and Australia over four years.
Each year the program will support female entrepreneurs to build practical networks, explore new markets and provide leadership training.
A 12-week program will run each year and offer:
- an initial 11-weeks of online training – linking women with business contacts, giving them insights into various ASEAN, Australian or Timor-Leste economies to support their business ventures
- a seven-day trade mission exchange in Australia for industry networking events, meetings with business officials and to attend their annual event where global speakers come together to pitch startup ideas – helping women make connections and propel their business ideas.
30 awesome young female entrepreneurs were selected for the 2025 program, which will run until early October 2025.
Applications for the 2026 program, with a focus on digital economy, are due to open in early 2026.
